While GP’s and specialists seeking the best care for their patients often refer patients to our office, a referral is not necessary. Yes, patients seeking compensation through insurance companies such as Workers Compensations, DVA, Medicare or CTP Greenslip will require a referral from a GP.

Yes, treatment is covered under the ancillary or extras cover of most major health insurers. The rebate varies depending on your health insurer and level of cover but is generally 60-70%. You may claim online, via a smart phone app, by mail, or in person.

Partially, Medicare now covers [5] treatments if your condition meets certain strickt. If you are suffering from chronic pain documented for over 6 months, your GP can refer for up to five [5] treatments per calendar year. Your GP will need to submit, an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan.

Yes, all you need to do is bring your referral from your local GP/Doctor and your DVA card. The entire consultation & treatment will be covered under DVA.
